As the finance administrator at BukitVista, you'll be building our financial management and accounting processes from scratch. We're looking for scalable, innovative solutions for payment collection, general ledger and mass payouts. We process hundreds of vacation rental transactions a month and looking to scale 200% by this year.

Our partners expect prompt and fast payouts, we expect a very meticulous and detail oriented team member. Accounting will work closely with other functions to ensure that special offers, discounts and promotions are correctly documented and paid.

Job Description

  • Creating and distributing financial reports to our partners.
  • Supervise payouts to accommodation providers and villa owners.
  • Monitoring and recording hospitality activity expenses; such as complain compensations and delighting project.
  • Analyze and point out the mistake in payment and records.
  • Undertaking of a range of administrative tasks; such as setting up payment method, daily report
  • Project future income and provide financial analysis of best performing and under-performing products. 
  • Keep a balance of the general ledger. 

Required Skills

  • Prior accounts payable experience required.
  • Very meticulous and detail oriented, a slightly perfectionist in seeing balance in numbers and figures.
  • A total hustler. You don’t fold under pressure; in fact, you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A problem-solver; you have an analytical mind and can navigate obstacles on the fly in a thoughtful and logical way.
  • Accountability. Finance and reporting are the gateway of the good relationship with the partners, you are responsible to maintain that relationship.
  • Well written/spoken English
  • Willingness to learn new computer technologies, mobile apps and workflows.
  • Experience in managing cloud-based spreadsheets, documents and popular instant messaging platforms. Experience with global financial systems (i.e. Oracle, NetSuite, Workday) is a plus. 
  • Experience in demanding, high-paced, low-fault-tolerance work environments.
  • Strong integrity and work ethics.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player – strong willingness to support the team.
  • Proactive, assertive, and has a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Multi-tasks and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Bachelor degree on finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
