Who says that traveling to Bali only can be filled by visiting beaches? Of course Bali’s beaches are beautiful, offering a lot of activities to be done - surf, sunbath, or chill around waiting for the sunset. However, there are a lot of other things you could also do while exploring around the island of God.

One of it is to challenge your adrenaline by visiting the waterfalls! It is challenging if we compare to beach trip that is relatively easy, going to waterfalls requires a bit more effort. Especially in Bali, almost all of the beautiful waterfalls are located in the north of the island.

Not only it requires a long ride to reach, it also requires a little bit of trek before you finally reach the source of the water. This is gonna be a hidden paradise for those who love nature adventures.

Of course you don’t want to waste all of this effort to exploited waterfall where so many tourists are staying in, do you? We have compiled 4 breathtaking waterfalls all around Bali that is worth your effort to visit:

Banyumala Waterfall

This waterfall is also known as the twin waterfall. Located around 30 minutes after the well known Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, this waterfall offers you the unusual experience of swimming in the natural pool under humongous waterfall.

Gitgit Waterfall

Gitgit waterfall is also located nearby the Ulun Danu Bratan Temple with different direction from Banyumala Waterfall. It is not as huge as Banyumala Waterfall, however its crystal blue green-ish water pool just under the waterfall will take your breath away.

Aling-aling Waterfall

Have you ever imagined how does it feel to slide down a waterfall? Worry no more! Just come to Aling-aling waterfall to experience it by yourself. This waterfall has a few trekking options where the guide will bring you around to experience a few waterfalls in its complex. My favorite one was when I jumped over a few meters from the cliff down embraced by natural pool below. This is definitely a go to for the adrenaline rush seeker!

Sekumpul Waterfall

Water cascades from 80m above will be the jaw-dropping view you encounter if you make your way to Sekumpul Waterfall. It is another twin waterfall in the north of Bali that will make you feel like a tiny creature in such a huge universe.
