Job Description

As the Online Data Support for Market Research & Development at Bukit Vista, you'll be building market and helping expand our growing collection of villas, mansions, apartment units, guesthouses and other unique, lovable accommodations all over Indonesia and abroad. We are looking for properties that deliver magical experiences for the guests. The role involves a lot of drive and hustle.

You'll be in charge of creating offline and online projects that will enable our Market Development teams to be successful. You'll analyze data from different neighborhoods to target the most high growth areas. You'll analyze statistics, drone footage, and check-in data to find new trends in emerging markets across Indonesia.

You'll be able to create revenue forecasts & predictions for all the newest properties. You'll be analyzing booking pace, average nightly rates, and occupancy rates to determine the optimum pricing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to.

  • Research market for next Bukit Vista expansion.
  • Using online research to discover new potential markets. 
  • Set up meetings for the on-the-ground growth team with prospective partners.
  • Forecast revenue projections for newly onboarded properties. 
  • Assist in the revenue management and price control of existing Bukit Vista properties. 
  • Distribute and manage feedback from guests back to owners & operation teams.

  • A problem-solver; you have an analytical mind and can navigate obstacles on the fly in a thoughtful and logical way.
  •  Accountability & Independence. You'll be working independently most of the time, researching online, analyzing data, looking for great listings, cold calling and approaching property owners. You'll have a lot of independence but you'll need to meet our growth expectations.
  • Superior written/spoken English, Bahasa Indonesia. 
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, mobile apps and workflows.
  • Experience in using the latest cloud application for project & time managment. 
  • Experience in demanding, high-paced, low-fault-tolerance work environments.
  • Hospitality problem solving - assuring guest satisfaction, managing expectations, dealing with challenging personal situations
  • Strong integrity and work ethics.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player – strong willingness to support the team.
  • Proactive, assertive, and has a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Multi-tasks and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
