BPJS Kesehatan program allows employees to enjoy medical benefits that can be used where they are located, or outside of their residing city. Please have a read-through of this guide to understand how’s the flow as well as what are the things that you need to prepare for.

• This is provided to all full time employees
  • For employees in probation, once there’s a positive signs of passing probation, then can be covered immediately

Payment Calculation

• BPJS Kesehatan has a monthly payment structure. Each month, 5% of your base salary amount is paid for this program. The breakdown is as follows:
  • 4% will be paid by Bukit Vista
  • 1% will be deducted from your monthly salary (will be updated on your employee journal)
• This 5% deduction has it’s own lower and upper limit based on the amount of base salary:
  • Lower limit of UMK of where the company is. In our case, since we’re located in Badung, the UMK is Rp 2,961,300 per month — we round it up to Rp 3,000,000 for simplicity purposes
  • Upper limit of Rp 12,000,000 per month
• E.g.
  • A has a base salary that’s lower UMK stated above, the deduction will still be based on the lower limit, thus the calculation is as follows:
    • 5% of Rp 3,000,000 → Rp 150,000 per month
      • 4% will be paid by BV → Rp 120,000 per month
      • 1% will be paid by A → Rp 30,000 per month
  • B has a base salary of Rp 5,000,000, thus the deduction follows the exact base salary amount:
    • 5% of Rp 5,000,000 → Rp 250,000 per month
      • 4% will be paid by BV → Rp 200,000 per month
      • 1% will be paid by B → Rp 50,000 per month
  • C has a base salary of Rp 15,000,000 which is more than the upper limit. The deduction will still be based on the upper limit:
    • 5% of Rp 12,000,000 → Rp 600,000 per month
      • 4% will be paid by BV → Rp 480,000 per month
      • 1% will be paid by C → Rp 120,000 per month

Note that the monthly deduction here is inclusive of your dependents (wife & up to 3 children).

• You may request to include your parents, in laws and your 4th, 5th, and 6th child for the coverage. Please contact Syelynn Arifin for further arrangement.

Class Coverage

There are 2 types of classes in BPJS Kesehatan:

• Class 1 → valid for employees who has > Rp 4,000,000 of base salary
• Class 2 → valid for employees who has < Rp 4,000,000 of base salary

E.g. D has base salary of Rp 3,000,000; he will be automatically get the Class 2 coverage. On the other hand, E has base salary of Rp 5,000,000; then he will get the Class 1 coverage.

Note on Faskes (Fasilitas Kesehatan)

Faskes is the facility that you can use for medical purposes, it might come in these forms:

• Hospital
• Puskesmas
• Pharmacy (Apotek)
• General Practitioner (Dokter Praktik Perorangan)
• Dentist
• Klinik Utama
• Klinik Pratama

As Bukit Vista is located in Jimbaran, Bali, mainly the faskes should be in this area. However, here’s the good news. As almost everyone is working remotely, it’s possible to have your Faskes of your own city, may be it from your own hometowns or your residing city.

FAQ

• If I live in Surabaya, then I can have the Faskes there as well?
  • Yes you can.
• If I’m originally from Jakarta, but I live in Yogyakarta, where should I put my Faskes?
  • You may adjust your Faskes to where you live currently at: Yogyakarta. You may choose the most reliable choice or the nearest Faskes for better convenience.
• If my Faskes is in Medan, but I don’t want to change it and I need to use it in Jimbaran, can I still use it?
  • Yes you can, there’s a limit of usage of maximum 3 times a month if you use the service outside of your registered Faskes.
  • We recommend you to visit Puskesmas Kuta Selatan for your visit in Bali
• Can I change my Faskes area?
  • Yes you can, however you can only change your Faskes within 3 months timeframe (for 1 time change).
