The dinner served as a dynamic platform for advancing knowledge exchange and collaborative efforts within the realms of digital society partnership and property management.
It was my absolute privilege to extend our hospitality to esteemed attendees from the Center for Digital Society (CfDS) at UGM, alongside Mikhael Davies, an esteemed student from UGM’s Property Management and Valuation program, known for his active participation in our educational initiatives. This gathering underscored our dedication to bridging the worlds of digital society consultancy and property consultancy, paving the way for groundbreaking synergies in the industry.
A Warm Welcome to Mikhael Davies
The evening’s narrative unfolded with the introduction of Mikhael Davies, a person marked by keen curiosity and determination. Enrolled in the Property Management program at UGM since 2020 and currently enhancing his skills through an internship at PT Hutama Karya in Jakarta, Mikhael shared invaluable experiences and perspectives. His keen interest in the depths of property management and valuation, combined with his curiosity about Bukit Vista’s innovative approach to property consultancy, ignited stimulating conversations. Utami and Ali, representing Bukit Vista, provided an in-depth overview of the company’s operations, showcasing their strategic approach to property listing management. This discussion highlighted Bukit Vista’s expertise in optimizing property value for owners and investors, underscoring their adeptness in property consultancy services.
Forging Ahead with CfDS: A Digital Society Partnership in Focus
As CfDS made its entrance, the air buzzed with the anticipation of a groundbreaking digital society partnership between Bukit Vista and the Center for Digital Society. The focal point of our dialogue was the “Decision” agenda, anchored by CfDS’s “Digital Startup Introduction (Decision)”—a distinguished monthly endeavor aimed at spotlighting startups from a multitude of backgrounds on a global scale. This initiative, celebrated for fostering heightened awareness, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the digital startup landscape, was envisioned as a prime stage for Bukit Vista. Here, we aimed to redefine our role not just as a property management firm but as a pioneering hospitality entity, delivering tailored and sophisticated solutions for property management.
This digital society partnership was poised to culminate in the announcement of year-long internship opportunities specifically tailored for the CfDS community, targeting FISIPOL students in particular. These roles, particularly inclined towards journalism and fields relevant to the CfDS demographic, signified a strategic move to cultivate emerging talents, seamlessly marrying Bukit Vista’s forward-thinking ethos with the dynamic digital society partnership initiative.
Diverse Discussions and Future Prospects
The Round Table Talk (RTT) dinner developed into a rich series of discussions, seamlessly weaving the concepts of digital community partnerships and property consulting into its fabric. It’s a shame that Sis Ayu from CfDS, was not present at the dinner because she had other things to do. This discussion highlighted the absence of a dedicated AI community in the region, Yogyakarta, prompting reflection on the need and potential to bridge this gap through the innovative Bukit Vista endeavor.
They also said their admiration for Vidiskiu, Bukit Vista’s VP of Engineering, was palpable, highlighting his important role in overcoming engineering challenges with visionary solutions. This sentiment was also expressed during Mr. Jing, who highlighted Bukit Vista’s pioneering efforts in the field of AI in property management and consulting, a testament to our commitment to leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency.
Apart from that, this discourse has spread to the realm of law, data, and the formulation of AI laws, which is a CfDS initiative in collaboration with the government. This effort aims to clarify the ethical boundaries of AI application, thereby safeguarding social, economic, and political interests. These discussions not only highlight the potential for enriching digital community partnerships in the future but also Bukit Vista’s dedication to innovation, excellence, and ethical considerations in consulting and property management.
