Hi, I’m Rama, HR Operations and Engagement at Bukit Vista. We’ve long believed that the future of work in hospitality isn’t about replacing humans—it’s about amplifying them. That belief lives inside Thea, our in-house AI agent designed to support the work of Community Managers and elevate partner communication. Built by our AI Engineering Team, Thea is more than just a tool. She’s a rapidly evolving teammate.
Before diving into Thea’s latest breakthrough, it’s worth recognizing how much she has already learned. Thea understands intent, detects emotion, and identifies sentiment—all to ensure every response is timely, relevant, and personal. She can recognize the topic of a conversation and route it to the right operational domain, whether it’s finance, guest experience, or property updates.
She’s also transforming how we communicate. One of Thea’s standout features, according to our AI Engineer Yosef, is Thea Content Creation—an automated system that generates newsletters using OpenAI’s language model and Integromat (Make). This feature keeps property partners informed with personalized updates while reducing repetitive tasks for our team. It boosts internal efficiency and strengthens external engagement through clear, data-driven storytelling. For our partners, the newsletter has become a transparent medium that increases their involvement in property management and helps them make decisions based on relevant, timely insights.
Beyond that, Thea is evolving with deeper intelligence. She selects appropriate response strategies based on context, remembers contract progress through foundational knowledge tracking, and even flags inconsistencies through contract drift detection. She doesn’t just react—she reasons, remembers, and grows with every interaction.
The Latest Update: Supervisor Availability in Real Time
One of the most practical upgrades to Thea’s abilities came last week—she can now check supervisor availability directly from Google Calendar. This upgrade addresses a common bottleneck: owners often need supervisor support but are left waiting while human teams coordinate across time zones, roles, and WhatsApp threads. With this new skill, Thea can instantly scan the calendar, identify who’s available, and inform the owner—no delays, no guessing, and no manual follow-ups. Urgent cases are flagged automatically and escalated if needed, allowing for smart responsiveness while reducing workload on our human team.
The Minds Behind the Innovation
This leap forward was made possible by Ardy and Yosef, our AI Engineers, who executed the integration by following the product vision set by Bayu, our Chief Technology Officer, and Ghani, our Chief Knowledge Officer with a deep understanding of both backend architecture and user psychology. They weren’t just writing code—they were building empathy into the system. Their work was deeply informed by the Operations team, ensuring that Thea’s logic aligns with how real property managers work and what partners expect.
Let’s Build the Next Innovation Together
If you’re a university exploring the frontier of human-AI collaboration, or a future engineer looking for projects that solve real operational pain points—Thea is exactly the kind of system you’ll want to be a part of here in Bukit Vista. At Bukit Vista, we’re not just adopting AI. We’re shaping it. Let’s connect and build something meaningful.
