Interning at Bukit Vista especially during the pandemic will be a memorable experience. You suddenly have access to connections and knowledge from the world and modern workplace outside of university. The internship has given me a lot more confidence about knowing my own interests as well as knowing which skills I can sharpen into valuable tools for the future.

It was my first internship ever and I cannot be more grateful that I got one at Bukit Vista. Three and a half month and I feel nothing but pure growth. It's quite sad that to pass up my work, my sweat, my knowledge for them to continue to thrive. But in return, I receive reflections, connections, growth, and even more knowledge (especially in communication and workflow) and that is absolutely priceless. I can only hope that I was able to give just as much as I've received.

The environment and ethos at Bukit Vista emulate that of an extended family, which is very fitting for their role in the hospitality service. My experience at Bukit Vista has been engaging and deeply satisfying, from communicating with hosts/clients to working on the back-end analysis of properties. Bukit Vista’s leadership philosophy encourages creativity and initiative, contributing to employee development. I am grateful for the knowledge and wisdom passed down to me which will carry me well in my future professional career.

Interning at Bukit Vista was definitely a highlight part of my university journey and am glad that I came across this opportunity during the pandemic. I strongly resonate with the company’s core values: ‘Don’t Assume, Use Data’, ‘Be the Hero’ and ‘Details Matter’ and still hold on to these values today. The people I cross paths with in the organisation were amazing - they were always happy to lend a hand and provided real time feedback that helped in my growth. The team across all levels were supportive and collaborative in helping me build the HR dashboard project that I presented as part of my internship journey.
