Business Analyst

As a Business Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Business Data Scientist to analyze data, generate insights, and contribute to revenue optimization strategies for our vacation rental business in Bali. Your role will involve extracting, cleaning, and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform pricing strategies, occupancy rates, and guest satisfaction initiatives.

What will you do:

• Knowledge Management
  • Develop and manage a centralized data repository to ensure accurate and accessible data for all stakeholders, enhancing data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Conduct ongoing research to stay ahead of industry trends, data analysis methodologies, and technology advancements, ensuring our data analytics capabilities remain cutting-edge.
• Strategy
  • Analyze data to uncover insights that inform strategic planning, operational improvements, and business growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies, directly contributing to the achievement of business objectives and optimization of resource allocation.
• Operations
  • Design and implement robust data analytics frameworks and reporting systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress against strategic goals, and identify areas for operational enhancement.
  • Provide analytical support for operational projects, including but not limited to, performance analysis, market analysis, and efficiency optimization efforts, ensuring data accuracy and relevancy in all operational decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably in the hospitality, travel, or vacation rental industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Solid understanding of revenue management concepts, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present insights to stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and data integrity.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
