As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategy to ensure competitiveness in the market while maximizing revenue. In addition to your analytical skills and business acumen, you will integrate AI tools and technologies into your role to enhance pricing strategies and pricing decisions, enabling us to stay ahead in the dynamic market.

What will you do:

  • Knowledge Management
    • Collect and analyze pricing data across various markets and products to maintain a comprehensive database that supports pricing strategies and decisions.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive pricing strategies, and regulatory changes that could impact pricing decisions, ensuring our strategies are both competitive and compliant.
  • Strategy
    • Develop pricing models and strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives, including market penetration, revenue growth, and customer retention.
    • Work closely with product management and marketing teams to understand product positioning, value proposition, and customer segments, ensuring pricing strategies are optimized for target markets.
  • Operations
    • Implement and manage pricing strategies across different channels and customer segments, monitoring their performance and making adjustments as necessary to meet business goals.
    • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to provide pricing support, including deal structuring, discounting policies, and negotiation guidelines, ensuring operational alignment with pricing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or specialized training in pricing analytics is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical role, preferably in the hospitality or vacation rental industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and pricing optimization techniques, including AI integration.
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategies, revenue management principles, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization platforms. Experience with revenue management systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capability to extract meaningful AI-driven insights from complex data sets and present recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to interpret market trends and customer behavior to drive pricing decisions, enhanced by AI.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, while maintaining an awareness of the bigger picture and business objectives. 
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
